Let's Talk About Sex and Relationships

But, what if...

SHE SAID YES, THEN CHANGED HER MIND.
Everyone has the right to change their mind if they are uncomfortable in a situation.

I BOUGHT DINNER, SO I DESERVE SEX.
No one deserves sex. Deciding to have sex should ALWAYS be a mutual decision.

WE'VE HAD SEX BEFORE.
Every individual sexual experience must be consented to. If you are confused about why your partner does not want to have sex this time, ask them.

SHE SAID NO, BUT STILL KEPT KISSING ME.
It is important to find out exactly what your partner is saying no to. Ask them.

I COULDN'T STOP.
Think of it this way - if your parents walked in while you were having sex, you would stop. It is no different if your partner asks you to stop.

In other words There are NO excuses for forcing sex on anyone.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF SOMEONE DOESN'T LISTEN AND RESPECT ANOTHER PERSON'S LIMITS:

  1. It could mean the end of a relationship you really wanted to keep.

  2. Someone could get hurt either emotionally or physically.

  3. A sexual assault from unwanted sexual unwanted sexual touching to rape could occur...
    ...AND IT IS A CRIME.
